Courtney Luv has been a part of the Cumulus Broadcasting Family for almost three years and made her official appearance as an on air personality for Magic 102.9 nearly two years ago. By working closely with the Promotions Department and Program Director for KVMA Magic 102.9, Courtney Luv made guest appearances and was doing live broadcasts from within the community for various public events, sponsorships and was even known to stop by various locations within the community and do live breaks while giving away prizes to the Magic 102.9 loyal listeners.  Courtney Luv has also been a featured writer for the local Shreveport Magazine, AMPS and wrote articles related to women, dating, education and other related issues.

Courtney graduated from Southern University of Shreveport in 2003 with her Associate Degree in Legal Studies and Wiley College in Marshall, Texas in 2005 with her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management and was commissioned by the State of Louisiana in November of 2005 as a Notary Public.  Her love of broadcasting stems from the Mass Communication Program that was offered from early educational pursuits and through this Program she was provided training and experience with various aspects of broadcasting. Combining her love of music, supporting community events and knowledge of various aspects of news, hot topics and overall friendly personality, Courtney became known as Ms. Courtney Luv of Magic 102.9. 

            Her son, Skylar is her only child and the joy of her heart. She is a Libra born September 28^th and the older of her mother’s two children. Her favorite hobbies consist of reading and spending time with close friends and family. Her most memorable concert consists of R Kelly when he came to the Shreveport area with Bell Biv DeVoe, Whitney Houston when she made an appearance in Lafayette, Louisiana and Keith Sweat who made an appearance once in the Shreveport Downtown area and again with the Tom Joyner Morning Show when they came to the Shreveport area for the Sky Show.  There is no favorite artist for her because she loves all the artists and has a love for all types of music.
