There have been plenty of arguments about which restaurants have the best fries in the Shreveport area. But, once you get your fries – what do you do with them? Dip ’em? Eat them plain??

A poll asked people how they like their fries.  They asked about McDonald’s specifically, but it can probably be applied across the board . . . depending on the different sauces that might be at various places. Let’s see what it says about people in the Shreveport area and beyond:

• 49% of people say they eat them just as they are, without any dipping.

• 39% say they’re best with ketchup.

• 7% dip them in barbeque sauce.

• 6% dip them in a sweet and sour sauce.

• And just 2% of people want them by themselves . . . WITHOUT SALT. 

How are like 50% of people NOT saying ranch though? Dipping fries in ranch is the best — or mayo… or honey mustard! What do you dip your fries in? And, while we’re at it.. who in the Shreveport area has the best fries?
