Bad Bunny arrived at the 2026 Met Gala with a full aged-up transformation created by makeup artist Mike Marino. The Puerto Rican artist appeared with gray hair, facial prosthetics, and details that gave him the look of an older version of himself.
On the red carpet, the look was presented with a black custom Zara suit, a pussy-bow detail, Cartier jewelry, and a cane. The styling connected with the Costume Institute’s Costume Art exhibition, which examined the body through fashion, including age and physical change.
The appearance added another notable entry to Bad Bunny’s Met Gala history. In previous years, he has used the event for highly styled fashion moments tied to design, culture, and identity.
This year’s look centered on physical transformation. The makeup, clothing, and accessories worked together around one clear idea: aging as part of the body’s presentation in fashion. Marino’s prosthetic work was a central part of the final effect.
